GOOGLE AND ASUS TO LAUNCH $85 CHROMEBIT ON HDMI STICK



Early in the year, Google and ASUS made an announcement on the Chromebit- Chrome OS base on an HDMI stick. Recently both companies have launched the Chrome OS on HDMI port.

  Though in so many ways its bulkier than the old Chromecast stick. Like any other device, it comes with a charger and has some other features such as USB port. With this port, you can plug it into wired peripherals (ie USB Hub).

  It could be used in so many places, be it in your livingroom, school or even at conferences on laptop. The Chromebit which is a 75gram device which can be inserted into any HDMI port comes with a 16GB onboard storage and a 2GB RAM. Resently it comes in two colours- Tangerine Orange and Black.

  This device is currently available in the United States (Amazon), Canada, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Sweden, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Taiwan and the UK. It will soon be made available in other parts of world.
